Mekong HI fresh-locked goji berries (also called goji berry or wolfberry) are selected from the Ningxia growing region – often called "the hometown of goji". Berries are hand-picked while just ripe and red, handled gently to keep the natural protective layer on the skin intact.

The fresh-lock process has 4 steps: hand-picked ripe red berries → washed with mountain spring water → gently dried at low temperature → fresh-locked at -18°C on the same day. This keeps the berries soft and plump with a naturally sweet taste – ready to eat straight from the jar, no rinsing needed.

Unlike traditionally dried goji, which is sun-dried or dried at high temperature (sometimes with sulfur to preserve colour), fresh-locked goji skips this step – convenient for busy people, office workers and families with elderly members.

The 120g jar is a compact size for a first try, for making tea at your desk every day, or to take with you when travelling for work.

How to use: Eat directly, brew as tea with red dates or chrysanthemum, or add to porridge, sweet soup, or stews. Useg per day.

How can I tell this is genuine fresh-locked goji, not blended or ordinary dried goji?

You can do a simple test at home: soak a few berries in clean water for a few minutes. Genuine fresh-locked goji keeps its natural protective layer intact, so the water stays clear; if the water turns cloudy and dark quickly, the protective layer may have been damaged by high heat or chemicals during processing.

Do I need to rinse fresh-locked goji before eating?

No – the product is processed in a closed process, ready to eat as soon as you open the jar.

Can children or pregnant women eat it?

Fresh-locked goji is an ordinary food. That said, young children, pregnant women, or people under medical treatment should consult a doctor before regular use.
